The revolutionary war is over, but the fight for the vast, fertile, unsettled lands of America has just began. White settlers encroaching into the red mans tribal hunting grounds is the cause of hostility and bloodshed on the wild frontier. The Long Hunter and Trapper, Nathan Buell and other's like him are all the warning and protection that stands between the scalping knife of the red man and the white settlers. He has been entrusted to find a white boy captive and return him to his grandfather at Somerset Manor.
