Dearie and the Peppermint Party — Alan Scott

We have oft-times been told and warned about what we are doing to our land and animals. It is not good and the tragedy lies in our inactivity and apathy. DEARIE AND THE PEPPERMINT PARTY is about a little girl who knows the problem and does something to alleviate it. Each year, Dearie goes into the forest to mend the hurt birds and animals. But the task is getting too much and she needs help. She is told to go to Se or Brainforall who will help here. On the way to his castle, she meets some funny animals such as Spot-N-Spic, Fred the Brown Dog, Minnie the Ape, Leaping Lena, the Goofs, Dill Pickle, Egg Face, Zazu the Zebra, Loco the Clown, the Twin Tigers, Biddy the Chick and Mug Wump. On her journey, she encounters some not so funny animals and things such as Poison the cat, the Drag-on witch and the Bad Nasties. We hope you can help the animals as Dearie has always done. She needs your help."
