The zombie apocalypse that everyone feared so much has happened, and yet nobody seemed to be prepared enough. Shaun and Aisling, two college students and room mates, are now stuck together as the world goes to shit around them. Being in Canada, there aren't actually too many zombies; the cold slows them down quite a bit. No, what the two young adults have to worry about are people. People are what kill in the North; the zombies are just an excuse for the murderous tendencies of people to make themselves known. So when Shaun and Aisling stumble into a father and his children, and then a settlement, they must remember that not everything is as it seems. And Shaun must remember that his fight is not with the zombies; it is with himself.
