Boston, 1773. This thriving seaport is the center of activity for the American rebels. Fiery speeches by Sam Adams and James Otis fuel the growing flames of liberty. A secret band of patriots plans defiant actions to protest the Crown's injustices. It is a heady time for young Daniel Reed to be pursuing his education in Boston. While he cloaks his insurrectionist sympathies with caution, his teenage brother, Quincy, rushes headlong into freedom's fight.
