THE THIRD EYE was published in 1956 and became an overnight worldwide best-seller. It remains one of the most referenced works among students of Eastern and metaphysical philosophies. It is the controversial, but TRUE, autobiography of a young Tibetan noble, Tuesday Lobsang Rampa, who at the age of seven was sent to the Chakpori medical lamasery.
