One warm night four children stood in front of a bakery. No one knew them. No one knew where they had come from.

Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny used to live alone in a boxcar. Now they have a home with their grandfather -- and an orchestra is coming to town!

The children are excited to hear the orchestra play, to meet the musicians, and to learn how to make their own instruments. The orchestra is also displaying a very valuable old piece of music. But when it mysteriously disappears, it's up to the Boxcar Children to find it!
