This second part of the "Tegne" trilogy and sequel to "Warlord of Zendow" stands completely on its own right and describes the rule of Tegne over his kingdom and his struggle against Neeka, an enchantress. Set in the future when the polar ice cap has melted and toppled the weight of the earth.
