The Hanging X — Robert J. Horton

At nineteen, Gail Landon left home in search of adventure and excitement, which he found when he joined the notorious Trantler gang. On the night there is to be a raid on a saloon bank, Gail receives word that his parents have been killed and he has inherited The Hanging X. There is no chance to escape from the gang before the raid and Gail figures he has to go through with it. Can he figure a way to escape from the gang without anyone suspecting why or where he has gone?
