The Gifts of Argostar is a collection of three books, starting with this one. These books contain short stories ranging from 9,000 to 25,000 words in length and take you on a journey to a distant solar system, as each story builds on the previous one, each introducing a race of people with abilities given for their survival.
These are tales of fantasy, danger, and romance, all steeped in a mythos as old as their solar system and as powerful as the faith that binds these peoples together. Each story is prefaced by a verse of that mythos, guiding the seeker to full understanding.
The Gifts of Argostar Part 1 has three stories: The Catch, The Lure and The Demand. We learn that the solar system has four planets. In order from their sun, they are Cutran, the binary planets of Vatrel and NaKaya and the farthest away, Veseria. Meet the mysterious visitor and natives who both fear and fall for her. Travel to the other worlds with them as they begin a fantastic journey of the greatest discovery.
The Gifts of Argostar Part 2 has two stories: The Alliance and The Rescue. We follow those we've fallen in love with and meet more incredible people. Interplanetary war now hangs over their heads. The choices they make will affect more than their happiness. They will affect the fate of the whole system.
The Gifts of Argostar Part 3, the final part, has two stories: The Encounter and The Return. One man risks it all to save his new home, learning the secret of what holds the twin planets together in the sky. Is it enough to bind the worlds together, or will that great secret technology tear them apart? All prophecies culminate in this last story. But not even a god can survive when worlds come crashing down. Can the one person sent to save them risk her life and her only chance at happiness?
