In 1945, the war is finally over and everyone is celebrating.

Everyone except Julia Cunningham, who is secretly dreading the return of her husband.

The war has made him little more than a stranger to her and their two young daughters.

It's not long before Julia begins to fear his increasingly violent nature.

Over 50 years later, Phil Walsh's life is falling apart -- his long-term partner is having an affair, he's lost his job and to make matters worse, he's on the brink of losing all contact with his son.

When he's forced to move into 31 Hawthorn Road and finds Julia's old diary, he unlocks a window into the past and a welcome distraction from his own life, which is quickly spiralling out of control.

Julia starts to come alive before his very eyes -- he can see her standing before him, he can hear her gentle voice, feel her soft, delicate touch.

Phil and Julia become lovers, but they have never met.

Julia saves Phil's life, but she exists in a time when Phil is not even born yet.

Is it all just a figment of Phil's imagination?

Can a house really connect two people from completely different worlds?

But more importantly, will Phil's frequent trips to the past result in him losing any hope of a future?

‘House of Dreams' is a beautifully moving story about the power of true love and its ability to transcend all matter of space and time.
