Distant Homeland — Kay Stephens

After being attacked by a Messerschmitt while flying a Spitfire from the factory to the airfield, Sally Downing is saved by Vaclav, a British-based Czech pilot. They become close, and when they are separated after the war, Vaclav plans to steal a plane and be reunited with Sally.
