Stubborn family loyalty means Grant Lunsford, roving cowpuncher, won't change his name, despite the fact that being the younger brother of notorious outlaw, Boss Lunsford, costs him job after job. But when he beats up a bartender after hearing the popular ballad about Boss being sung in the bar, John Kinsley, owner of the Paradise Ranch, sees the fight and hires Grant as foreman.
