Author's description. Rita Kozcinski, secretary to the head of the Records Department of the CIA, meets a man while she is visiting Cairo on a tour of Egypt. She falls in love immediately, unaware he is a Libyan National and recruiter sent to the Middle East to harness unsuspecting workers of foreign governments. Kitty Moss, a writer, travels to Egypt and Israel on a research trip that results in a tour bus hijacking on the Sinai Peninsula. Never having held a weapon in her life, Kitty kills the hijackers; for which the extremely irate and perplexed Libyan Chief of Security hunts her. When the terrorists come calling at her hideout, she makes the first in a series of kills and the metamorphosis begins. This suspenseful thriller moves between Kitty and her plight to stay alive and Rita and her Libyan lover.
