The Star of Hope
For many centuries now, a magical book protected the Stars of Christmas, which made sure that Christmas was the greatest festival in the world. The festival of generosity, hope, joy and harmony.

But when Juliette, Klelia and Théo destroy the book, Christmas loses its magic and the world is disenchanted. To turn it into a wonderful festival again, Ginnie, the Christmas Fairy, decides to send the children to the West, in search of the Star of Hope.

But will they manage to discover it before midnight, and restore the enchantment of Christmas?

EXCERPT

Nefeli flies in front of them and leads them along the road. At last they arrive at a honey-colored house. The children ring the doorbell and an elf in a green hat opens the door.

“Who are you?” he asks with obvious curiosity.

“We're looking for the Star of Hope, and we would like to look at the Christmas map to find it,” Juliette explains.

“Oh!”

The elf looks uncomfortable.

“I'd be happy to show it to you, but the map doesn't work anymore.”

The children discover an inanimate map hanging on the wall.

“What happened to it?” Théo asks.

“Well, you see… we were having fun, and, who knows how, we tore the map to pieces. When we put it back together, nothing was in the right place anymore.”

“That reminds me of someone,” Théo mutters.

“Kelly wasn't by any chance playing with you, was she?” Nefeli asks.

“Is someone talking about me?”

“Kelly, how did you get here?” Klelia cries out joyfully upon seeing the little fairy appear.

“Rena, my godmother, called me. She thought you might need me.”

“Great!” the children cry, but they quickly remember that Kelly is the queen of blunders.

“Say, will you be careful not to cause us any more trouble?” Théo asks warily.

The elves burst out laughing, but Kelly isn't offended.
