The Staff of Joe — R.E. Riepe; M.L. Riepe

It is now September 21, 2017 and America is not the same country that existed in 2012. Events in the once great nation have not gone well. Now America does not even fit in the classification of a third world nation. It is more like Germany in 1936. The rest of the world is not much better. There is turmoil and war occurring on every continent. What Earth needs is nothing short of a major miracle.
In 2017 a dock worker in Las Vegas finds a strange man in his driveway. At first he did not recognize the elderly man dressed in tattered rags but after a brief interaction he discovers that the man who he thought was a bum in his driveway is God.
God has returned to Earth.
The dock worker finds out that God has a mission for him and him alone. Giving him a large wooden stick with the name of Moses etched on the lower half God sends him on his way to reclaim the once free nation of the United States. With a little help from some quirky friends along the way he sets out on his mission from God. It remains up to him to achieve success. The question in his mind when he starts is will he have to make the ultimate sacrifice in the name of the Lord?
Religion will not be the same and neither will America.
