The Hangman's Ghost Trick — Scott Corbett

Kerby Maxwell, his dog, Waldo, and his best friend, Fenton, are off on another hair-raising adventure with their eccentric friend, Mrs. Graymalkin.

They're searching for a mysterious cat whose nose glows red in the dark. This cat will lead them to a rare type of siena seed that only grows on Bald Mountain.

The only problem: Their search takes them much too close to the abandoned gallows and to...the hangman's ghost!
