Kendra's nightmare starts when she makes an early stop at the home of an uberwealthy film producer to check on his beloved pup and iguana--only to find them missing and a ransom note on the iguana's cage. Through her Southern California pet-sitting club, she learns that other four-legged clients have been snatched, too. Then a fellow pet-sitter turns up bludgeoned to death. Kendra has her suspicions, but it soon appears she's barking up the wrong tree.
