This story is about 3400 words or 22 standard book pages.

The man streaked into Murk's little camp about mid-evening.
"Hey! Where is your water?"
Murk didn't answer. He was too busy starring.
The man seemed totally unconcerned about the fact that he was on fire (skin melting away and everything).
"Are you listening? I need water ? fresh water."
"It's ?"
The man spotted the small pottery flask Murk had confiscated from the imp. He grabbed in gingerly.
"I recommend you duck."
"Why ?"
Small black shapes filled the air around the campfire. The flaming man took a long pull of the water. Before spitting it out at the shapes.
Normally when one drinks water and this water comes out from one's mouth, only water comes out. This wasn't the case for the flaming man in front of Murk. The water spread out as steaming hot fluid coated in light blue flame that illuminated nearly fifty or more angry looking fairies who quickly became small raging bonfires hanging in midair for a moment before falling to the ground.
Murk fell to his knees and crawled behind the log that he had been sitting on as the man took another swig.
There was a short pause as they both waited for the next wave to come. It never did. The man spat the flames onto the fire and came over to sit down on the log next to Murk.
"You can come out now."
Murk put his head up. The man was still on fire and the log was slowly starting to blacken.
"I think I'm ok over here."
He edged away from the heat.
What was he going to do with this man in his camp? He didn't know, but he suspected his life was about to get more difficult. It was not a welcome thought...
