The Basement of Mr. McGee — Olivia Gaines

There's something fishy going on in the house of Oisin McGee. Abigail Courtingbox and the ladies of the Church of Loving Words have set their caps to rid the town of the dilapidated house and its owner. Mr. McGee is no idiot and with some quick thinking, he finds a way to bring the house up to code, but he needs help. Aided by the mayor's niece, Sammi and her good friend Rosie, a whirlwind of activity takes place to get the house in order, but there are two very important pieces of paper that Mr. McGee needs. Those two pieces of paper are located in his basement. A basement that is rumored to be haunted by a mysterious figure and filled with generations of clutter.



There is money to be made on the clean-up, but the neighbors still want to know, what is Mr. McGee up to? Sammi and Rosie take the challenge to solve the mystery, but along the way, the two learn some hard truths about people, life and the meaning of friendship.
