When the resurrected corpse of a prophet reveals that the Tablet of Breaking -- a device which, when activated, will destroy the world -- lies hidden in a lost city, Jakob and his companions are sent to locate the Tablet before it falls into the hands of the Watchers, four fallen angels who have roamed the earth for millennia.
