Storm Over Edgecliff — Hope Goodwin

A summer at the beautiful Edgecliff estate on Wyndon Island promises to be eventful for Eden North. Her wealthy benefactor, Emma Wyndon, has lured her back to the island to write a book about the famous Wyndon family. It's just the chance Eden needs to launch her writing career. Returning to Edgecliff will also allow her to rekindle her romance with Jack Holbrook, the Wyndon Company's executive director.

Before Eden leaves for Edgecliff, however, she receives a threatening anonymous letter telling her to stay away. When she arrives, Emma's nephew and his wife are hostile and Emma's nurse seem to hat her on sight! At least Jack is on her side. So why can't she get the intriguing man she met on the ferry to the island out of her mind? When he suddenly turns up, Eden's emotions are thrown into turmoil. Even worse, the letter writer is now trying to poison and other more direct ways to get rid of Eden. If she doesn't discover her secret enemy soon, this summer might be her last!
