After a decade of losing, the Packers are fed up. The organization desperately needs a coach who can return the team to the glory years of the Lambeau Era. Thus the Packers turn to "one of their own" for the 1958 season -- former top assistant Tom Hearden. But when tragedy intervenes, it leads to the Packers' eventual hiring of a man named Vince Lombardi.
