The Apache are superstitious, but Pauline believes that the Lord has put this task before her: to teach the Apaches the Word of God and show Christ-like love. She gets her chance sooner than she expects when the chief decides she should go to the village to “cure” a sick warrior. Hindered by language barriers, the language of God's love comes through loud and clear.
