I dropped my entire life in Oslo. I moved to Svalbard so I could be with the man I fell in love with. Things between us were great -- for a while.

Now there's constant arguments and loneliness. I miss Oslo and the life I had there. The only Oslo doesn't have is him, and I really do love him… but can I really pick Svalbard for only that reason when everything else on the wretched island makes me miserable?

Happy ever after takes work. I knew that. But in our case, it takes a lot of work. Maybe too much.

This novel was first released in 2016 under the title Northern Skies. The 2019 edition includes better formatting and some extended scenes. It has a happy ending and no cliffhangers.
