Little Wings — R.L. Holmes

It was always faerie Madar Guirmean's dream to Outbound just like her parents and grandparents. Failing her entrance exams several times, she eventually passes and enrolls into the Segais School for Outbounders with the goal of becoming a Windtalker. After rigorous training under her disapproving teacher, Borrach, she is assigned her first human client and enters the human world, only to discover that it's not quite the adventure she thought it would be. Feeling frustrated and bored, Madar, steals her human's dog, Filo, and whilst on the run she notices dark, shadowy figures upon a group of human's shoulders, and later discovers that they are visible only to her. Finally, Madar's adventure is about to begin!
