Hunt for a Stone Killer — Tony Masero

In the aftermath of the bloody events recounted in the Time of Apache Tears, John Stone, the white man with the soul of an Apache warrior, continues his journey into the Arizona badlands. His path leads him to an isolated mountain town where a bloodthirsty killer with a bizarre taste for taking heads is loose. Using his Apache tracking skills, Stone is encouraged to take up the trail of the murderer.

His old enemy Jesse Lee Birger has surfaced and found himself a new and powerful ally who is intent on making lucrative deals in the burgeoning town of Las Vegas. Jesse Lee is at the heart of it but when he gets to hear of Stone again his enmity knows no bounds and he coldly sets out to seek revenge at whatever cost.

Their paths are destined to cross and with a new set of companions accompanying him, John Stone must call on the spirit of his great grandfather and all his resources to combat the encroaching threat.
