"Scoop! Didn't you hear me?" B.C. demanded, grabbing my arm and yanking. "I saw fire!"

When someone plays a nasty Halloween trick on the stables, Sarah "Scoop" Coop is, virtually frozen with fear. Although the horses and stables are safe, Cheyenne is particularly spooked by the event.

As more difficulties arise, Scoop gets a case of the "what ifs": What if everyone forgets her birthday? What if she has lost her ability to handle and calm Cheyenne? What if her friend Jen is in real trouble?

As Scoop confronts her circumstances and asks God for help, she learns that He knows and understands her fears and He is strong when she is weak. Together, Scoop and God face it all.
