Home Again
THE SUBJECT WAS ROSES

Rebecca Halstead wanted a rose arbor. A simple thing, really, yet neither of the men in her life was willing to help her. Her teenage son, Alan, had more important things on his mind-such as wreaking havoc on her relationship with his boss, Sam Ballard.

And Sam? Well, Sam just didn't seem to want the kind of commitment the arbor symbolized. To him, it stood for all the homey things he wanted no part of. But family meant everything to Rebecca, and quite frankly, Sam wasn't offering anything to replace it with.

True, his kisses left her breathless, but Rebecca needed more. She'd damn well build her own arbor, with or without him.
