Guardians from Zxerag — B.M. Thoresson

Mike is a young American orphan, who inherits the family fortune on turning twenty one. Instead of taking over the company, Mike decides that he first wants to do some exploring. During a skiing trip, he saves some aliens from an accident, and then helps them on their way. Years later, after completing one of his adventures, he meets up with them again. He has many adventures with them. He discovers the reason why the Earth was born. On a day, he wakes up in hospital after being in a coma for many months, and Mike wonders if his adventures were all a dream, or if they were real.
Mike decides to check out all the information he can remember from his dream, and starts to investigate all the incidents. He meets up with long lost family, who help him get to the truth. Some of Mike's friends prove how deceitful they are. His adventures take him to different parts of the world where he meets world leaders. He uncovers a very sinister plot which was hatched for Earth, a very long time ago, and very far away.
