Grimwig — Bert G. Hornback

GRIMWIG is a novel about a character borrowed from Charles Dickens's famous Oliver Twist. Herbert Grimwig is a Londoner, and great admirer of Dickens's writing. He reads them avidly as they appear in monthly numbers, and they to some extent form his way of seeing the world. And when David Sparks, a boy whom he rescues from the streets, asks him his name, Mr. Grimwig replies "Fagin."
