It is a brutal mountain feud between the Gemmel's and the Boyd's that rages, and in the smoldering ashes, Fullblood Boyd is set on a path of bloody and violent revenge. Sworn to avenge a massacre of innocents, Fullblood confronts the fearsome Blackman Gemmel only to see the twisted killer escape. But there is still the rest of the Gemmel clan to deal with and only after that can he begin to track down the worst of the bunch.
Even the captive Rachel, a beautiful valley girl that has caught his eye will not turn him from his path of retribution.
What follows is an orgy of bloodletting as the cold-hearted Overmountain Man wreaks havoc amongst the forests of Appalachia before following his prey to the gates of the Alamo mission. There, he is determined to find his fleeing nemesis amongst the isolated handful of Texans seeking to stem the tide of Santa Anna's army in a battle for liberty.
