Foolish Heart — Marjorie Warby

After the death of her father, young Judy Maitland is left alone in the Kenya Highlands with a bungalow much too large for her and a half-share in a coffee plantation. The other half belongs to her father's young partner, Miles Beresford, now her guardian. Judy is in love with Miles, but when he offers marriage, merely as the most suitable way out of her difficulties, her foolish heart rebels and she decides to turn the bungalow into a guest house and a new exciting life begins.
