The small town of Southport, NC was a quiet and out of the way town that no one had ever heard of, until one fateful evening when cannons were heard firing off the coast. Finding themselves under attack, the people panicked. However, nothing hit the town, and no evidence of any ships were found. That is, until bodies began washing up on the shore. And it happened again and again.When Captain Rollins hears of the incident, he decides to investigate, believing that this may have to do with the U.F.O.s he's been investigating for so the last few years. And he isn't the only one, the Soviets have heard of this incident and believe the Americans are testing a new superweapon. As these mysterious invisible cannons continue to fire, and unidentifiable corpses continue to wash up on the shores of this small town, it becomes even more imperative that this mystery be solves. But what exactly is happening in Southport? Where are these cannons coming from? And what will they do when they discover their origins.
