Young Doctor DAYNE TALBOT returned to her home town of Cane Creek to try and clear the name of her father who fifteen years before had been convicted of a crime he didn't commit. Dayne knew he had been innocent and she was determined to prove it.
Her greatest opposition came from the town's most respected and influential citizen, THERON FRANKLIN, who had his own reasons for not wanting Dayne to stay and practice medicine in Cane Creek.
But with the help of the handsome young newspaper editor, JED KINGSLEY, Dayne was able to prove her father's innocence, win the esteem of the townspeople and also fall very much in love.
