Jack and his sister Sue can hardly wait to get down to Danton's Dark Carnival when it arrives. They eventually end up in the Shape Shifter where they gaze at their distorted images for some time, until Jack finds a mirror where there is no distortion. Inexplicable things begin to happen to Jack.
