Nora Mason, a lawyer in San Francisco, has just broken up with her partner Alice, of four years. The relationship had been going south for some time, but Nora lets it limp along. Finally, she'd had enough and ends it. She was now alone, something she thought she wanted and needed, but then she met Robin Grant, a court stenographer. Robin's life was a bad road of several broken relationships with men. She had tried but failed to satisfy her desires. What starts as a simple work relationship blossoms into something much more. Robin discovers she has feelings for Nora, but can't understand where the feelings are coming from. Nora thought she wasn't ready for another relationship, but she was wrong. Their story is one of two women seeking love, but there's more, much more as accidents happen, and mysterious sightings plague Nora. What starts as a whirlwind romance becomes a mystery for both to solve.
