Jackson howled once more, his bloodied clothes now ripped to shreds and lying on the pavement. Then he sped off, sprinting through the dark streets, moving swiftly away from the scene of the crime. As Jackson ran towards the city limits, he could hear the distant squeal of sirens, but he didn't stop. He ran until Atlanta became nothing more than a glistening jewel on the horizon.
