A WALK IN THE WOODS — J.L. Reynolds

Justin had built her a cabin in Northern California on land that he owned.The cabin was surrounded by woods and some wildlife i.e., deer, squirrels,and some elk. The cabin sat in a secluded area with no on living for milesaway. It was built exactly as she wanted, all oak inside and out with apatio when you walked out the door.On a lovely day she was walking on one of her trails and she stopped. She was listening to what was an unusual noise sounding like a growl coming from the trees. A noise that was frightening.The noise got louder, which seemed be coming closer to her. Then it was right in front of her. She could hardly see what it was. Her last rational words were, Oh my God!
