Rose Elizabeth is mad as a hornet when her beloved farm is sold out from under her. It seems her bossy sister Heather wants her to give up farming to attend Mrs. Caffrey's School for Young Ladies. Rose, however, has plans of her own -- and they don't include Alexander Warrick, the insufferable Duke of Moreland, who had the nerve to buy her farm.
