Description
Gr 1-3 Gackenbach's half dozen rhymes in this addition to the tongue twister collection are spoiled, at times, by text and art that do not match. The ``fish'' with a grin who pulls the young fisher named Fisher into the Wisher is a porpoisea mammal, not a fish. The fishermen ``fishing'' for Fisher are not pictured as doing anything to rescue the drowning boy. The characters generally have an unpleasantness to themthe children especially are pictured as scowling and troublesome. It's a pity, as the rhymes are fun and the illustrations colorful.
