Backshooter — Robert J. Randisi

Kyle Maddux had been the toughest marshal in Oklahoma--until a brutal shooting left a bullet in his back and a bitter taste for vengeance in his mouth. They could make him turn in his badge, but they could never take away the honed reflexes of a lawman. Therefore, Maddux grows immediately suspicious when he hears tell of some mighty similar backshootings in Texas. Though he can barely sit a horse, Maddux sets out on a blood trail, determined to put the bushwhacker behind bars--or die trying.
