About the Author

W.E.B. Griffin enlisted in the United States Army in 1946. He fought in the Korean War, which interrupted his education at Phillips University. After he was released from active duty, he was named Chief of the Publications Division of the U.S. Army Signal Aviation Test and Support Activity at Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Griffin has written 45 novels in six series, with 45 million novels in print in over 10 languages including Hebrew and Japanese. His novels are known for their historical accuracy. Griffin has been awarded with honorary Doctoral degrees from Norwich University and Troy State University. He is also the co-founder of the William E. Colby Seminar on Intelligence, Military and Diplomatic Affairs. Griffin lives in the Gulf Coast and Buenos Aires.
